British Columbia's Wilderness Sanctuary
We visit one of British Columbia's most scenic areas - the Kitlope. We travel along a spectacular waterway lined by lush forested hills and glacial mountain peaks, an area teeming with wildlife, from numerous and varied birds to mountain goats, grizzly and black bears.
Gateway to the scenic Kitlope River Valley, Gardner Canal will take us through a breathtaking panorama of hanging glaciers and unrestrained waterfalls leaping from steep cliffs. This canal will lead us deep into fjordland and the heart of the Kitlope region, and area rich in Haisla culture and the largest intact wilderness preserve in the world. Here an exciting zodiac expedition along its river will take us to the spectacular Kitlope Lake.
